More control over inventory management and order processing has been two of the primary benefits that Mighty Lift has experienced while using ACCTivate! Inventory and Distribution Management Software for QuickBooks.

Mighty Lift implemented ACCTivate! as their inventory management system in January 2007.

Previously they used the software, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks to manage their inventory. Their large inventory of products prompted them to search for a product that would better fit their business needs.

Accounting manager, Youanna Lu said the deciding factor with ACCTivate! was its ability to integrate with QuickBooks.

"We wanted to continue using QuickBooks, and ACCTivate! was the perfect choice because it was designed to work specifically with QuickBooks," she said.

Overall, Mighty Lift finds ACCTivate! to be an effective system for inventory management, purchasing and warehousing. At their office they have 12 employees who use ACCTivate! daily.

The inventory capabilities of ACCTivate! help Mighty Lift with a variety of areas, including sales order management, customer service, accounting collection, warehousing and purchasing.

"We love the different functions of ACCTivate!; they are very easy to use and linked to both customers and products," she said.

Lu said they use the Kitting feature to effectively bundle their products. For example, when they order electric pallet jacks from one factory and a charger from another factory, they use the kitting feature to measure the cost.

Reporting is used for different aspects of their business and with ACCTivate!'s integration to Crystal Reports® they can customize reports to meet whatever needs they have on the reporting side.

Lu also said they have had an excellent experience with customer service and support.
