ACCTivate! Inventory & Business Management Software has been around for ten years
In the late 90's, ACCTivate! was just an idea for a solution to a Y2K roadblock in an accounting application. Further research revealed that small businesses no longer had affordable software at their reach. The small business market was in need of a reasonably priced inventory management solution and ACCTivate! was the perfect candidate to fill the gap.
The original version of ACCTivate! only integrated with CYMA Financial Accounting and hit the market in 2000. Soon after the release of ACCTivate! for CYMA, a new version of ACCTivate! was added. ACCTivate! for QuickBooks was released in 2004.
Ten years later, ACCTivate! continues to carry both versions of the software, which have evolved with richer functionality and significant enhancements. The recent release of ACCTivate! 7.0 in 2009 introduced over 300 new features including advanced purchasing capabilities, decision support tools, a customizable dashboard and streamlined user interface with enhanced icons.
Through all the years and improvements, ACCTivate! has kept its purpose. It still serves small and midsized businesses with the same idea from which it started: provide affordable inventory and business management software to small and midsized businesses.
