We will continue to improve upon and enhance ACCTivate! in 2008 and in the years to follow as technology continues to evolve and we continue to do our best to meet the needs of the most important part of our business - you our customers and prospects.

 

This past year marked many milestones for ACCTivate!. ACCTivate! 6.2 was released in the beginning of 2007 as one of the largest ACCTivate! releases ever in terms of the dozens of new features, enhancements and technical corrections.

Then in the middle of the year, we had another successful users conference with ACCTivation! 2007. There were some new training classes introduced and a great turnout.

 

We ended the year with another release in late October - ACCTivate! 6.3, which has already introduced updates in ACCTivate! 6.3.1.

With 2007 coming to an end, it's time for annual inventory counts and ACCTivate! is by your side to help you with this task. ACCTivate! provides you with a printable count sheet of your inventory within minutes. After you count your inventory enter it in the system and ACCTivate! will adjust your inventory accordingly and provide a variance report.

There is no need for paper printouts, when you have your count sheet on your mobile device and if you have a built-in or plug-in barcode scanner your time-savings will skyrocket and your count will less likely be affected by human error.

Shopping Cart Interface Module

Import web orders to ACCTivate! It's easy!Import orders from your shopping cart

It is clear that allowing customers to place orders via the Internet can save you time and expense compared to traditional methods of order placement.

However, because of the differences between a website (even a database driven website) and a full inventory and distribution system, moving information between your website and your business management system has always proved to be difficult.

However, ACCTivate! has a solution for this problem. Our Shopping Cart Interface module has been designed to work with just about any website shopping cart with an order export option and a general import option. This allows you to run both systems as you currently are (or develop a new website) and transfer information back and forth when needed.

How does it work?

The process is actually very simple.

  1. Your customer enters an order on your existing website shopping cart.
  2. You export those orders into a file that you move into ACCTivate!.
  3. ACCTivate! reads that file and automatically turns your web orders into full sales orders.

With the Shopping Cart Interface add-on, import orders from your website's shopping cart and turn each order into a new sales order in ACCTivate!.

The procedure flow for importing orders from your website's shopping cart and turning each into a new sales order in ACCTivate!.

The amount of information that is contained in the order is determined by the amount of information that exists in your website shopping cart. You can then process these orders with your distribution and order fulfillment procedures.

Moreover, our Shopping Cart Interface module also provides you with the ability to export customer and product information from ACCTivate! that you can import back into your shopping cart system.

The benefit of this is clear. Your website shopping cart system can be developed with customer login and password information (stored in ACCTivate!), product information, prices, and just about any information that exists in ACCTivate!.

ACCTivate! 6.3.1 update

ACCTivate! 6.3.1 update is now available to download

 

The ACCTivate! 6.3.1 update was recently released early this month for QuickBooks and CYMA users. It includes a few new features, improvements and technical corrections since ACCTivate! 6.3 that are designed to provide a better user experience.

 

For CYMA users, the update is compatible with the newly released CYMA 10.

For QuickBooks users, the update includes new features that allow credit card information to be stored in ACCTivate! (see details below).

 

Don't forget to download the ACCTivate! 6.3.1 update today! Store credit card information in ACCTivate! 6.3.1 (QuickBooks users only) 
With the release of QuickBooks 2008/8.0, Intuit no longer allows third party applications, such as ACCTivate!, access to credit card information stored in QuickBooks (This issue does not affect earlier versions of QuickBooks.).

Therefore to resolve this issue, ACCTivate! 6.3.1 allows all QuickBooks users to store and maintain credit card information in ACCTivate! within the Customer Information window. Also, QuickBooks 2008/8.0 users have the option to synchronize credit card information from ACCTivate! to QuickBooks. Click here for more information
