with email message templates
Create
and store standard messages in ACCTivate!
Often
in business, standard and repetitive email messages need to be
sent. They might include
everything from internal policy memos to customer service messages.
Whatever the message, having to rewrite it each time it's needed is
very unproductive. Why not just
create the message once and have it available whenever needed?
ACCTivate!
has you covered with the new
email message template function introduced in the 6.2 release.
Creating and
using email message templates
Using
the email templates is easy.
Just 1) set up the email as a template, 2) save it and 3)
ACCTivate! stores for you or other users. It can then be opened and sent from
any email-capable window in ACCTivate!.
Begin with an email
message window initiated by the 'Send Email' button available on all windows
with email functionality. This is where templates are created and
stored.

Stored
templates for that module are listed in the window along with the
option to manage message templates.
Once you're in the Message
Template window you can create or delete a template. To make a new template, just enter a
unique Template name, a Subject and the then the actual
message inside the Body.

Finally, select the Type of template you want and
if you want this template to be accessible for all ACCTivate! users or
only you.
When this is done, save the template and
you now have created an email template.
Information
automation with data fields
Your
messages can include data fields that automatically populate
information based on the module.

The
above-left window shows the raw data
fields specific to the Business
Activity module. The
above-right window shows the information populated by the system when
the message is sent.
