ACCTivate! 6.4 available to download

ACCTivate! 6.4 was released on July 2 with a new add-on module for process & discreet manufacturing as well as several other new features & improvements intended to provide a better overall business & user experience.

A glimpse at some of the major enhancements

After the germination of ideas, requests
and suggestions ACCTivate! 6.4 has
sprouted with many new features
and improvements

• Variable Build / Batch Manufacturing module
  ACCTivate! 6.4 introduces a new add-on module, the Variable Build / Batch Manufacturing module, which handles variations throughout processing and in the resulting yield due to the nature process and the components or ingredients used.
  
  This module is a must-have for industries involved in batch process and discreet manufacturing, such as food & beverage processing, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmeceutial (cosmetics & personal care), agricultural packaging, specialty chemicals, and consumer packaged goods.
  
  ACCTivate! handles variable components and variable yield with ease when the new add-on module is implemented.
  
  Using this new feature:
  
  • Component quantities can be adjusted
  • Components can be added, removed or replaced
  • One or more lots of a given component/ingredient can be used
  • The overall yield quantity of the product produced can be recorded
• Create & modify customer jobs
  QuickBooks customer jobs are now supported by ACCTivate!. Jobs can be created, maintained and modified in ACCTivate!.
  
  Jobs can be synchronized both ways, so any existing jobs in QuickBooks will be brought into ACCTivate! and job updates and new jobs done in ACCTivate! will synchronize into QuickBooks.
  
  Jobs are also linked between the customer and the job in ACCTivate! making it simple to view all jobs for a customer or open the customer from their job.
• Added flexibility with customer invoices
  In the QuickBooks version of ACCTivate! 6.4, there is now direct access to customer invoices from the main ACCTivate! toolbar instead of having to venture into the sales order or customer windows.
  
  In addition to direct access the customer invoice has a few new features.
  
  A few fields can be edited, such as the PO, due date and reference fields. Also, notes can be added to an invoice and all payments linked to the invoice can be viewed.
  
  An "In Dispute" checkbox is available on the invoice as well, which allows an invoice to be excluded, so that the a customer's credit status is not affected.
• PDG Commerce integration
  PDG, a well-known Shopping Cart and eCommerce software now integrates with ACCTivate!.Sales orders generated by PDG Commerce can be imported into ACCTivate! using the Web Orders Import wizard.

The release is available to download from the ACCTivate! website for all current QuickBooks and CYMA customers with current SMS (QuickBooks) / SMP (CYMA contracts). Contact your ACCTivate! representative to determine if your contract is up-to-date. Follow the instructions to download ACCTivate! 6.4.
