Paid invoices may appear with balances
Older QuickBooks versions may cause paid invoices to appear with balances
ACCTivate! users running QuickBooks versions prior to 2008 may notice that some invoices that were paid in QuickBooks now appear with a balance in ACCTivate!.
The issue arises from using the Apply Credits button on the Invoice window in QuickBooks to apply an existing payment. Open the existing payment and apply it to the invoice in order to prevent this issue from occurring.
It is highly recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks to resolve this issue, since it has been fixed in QuickBooks 2008.
If upgrading is not an option at this time, use the option to "Synchronize changes since closing date" or "First QB Use" in ACCTivate! as a temporary workaround.
