Show me the money!

Ken Parker, VP of Sales & Marketing In the 1994 film, Jerry Maguire, about a sports agent and his football playing client, the key to the successful relationship between the athlete and his agent was "Show me the money!"

No doubt that most of our customers have come to implement ACCTivate! in order to improve the useful investment in inventory. There is another area of the business, however, that may need as much extended care as inventory when it comes to showing the money.

Credit and collections is an area of ACCTivate! features and functions that will give you tools for greater control, better collections, fewer long overdue invoices and better relations with customers. Included in this month's tips and tricks is an update on how to use ACCTivate! as an advanced tool for getting control of Receivables and bring in more cash to the business.

Look at these features...

  • Override of credit hold on individual orders with permission
  • Establishing credit limits of individual customers including unlimited credit
  • Manage credit denial situations
    • Over limit
    • Overdue invoices
    • Manual hold
  • Putting invoices in dispute that will avoid credit denial
  • Having a separate credit tab within ACCTivate! for notes, limits and aging information
  • Easy to view individual customer days to pay trends on an invoice by invoice basis
  • Putting any customer on manual credit hold for any reason such as brand new customers
  • Setting grace periods by terms code
  • Optionally include open sales and service orders

If you haven't looked at the distinct capability of ACCTivate! to give you better control of your outstanding receivables, we invite you to do so. In the paraphrased words from the movie, "We will show you the money!"

Kind Regards,
Signature
Ken Parker,
VP of Sales & Marketing
