North Texas will not stay behind

On February 11, 2010, we woke up to
several inches of snow on the ground.
The Dallas/Fort Worth
metroplex accumulated about a foot of snow in 24 hours, breaking a previous record set in 1964.
Ten Years with ACCTivate!
It will be ten years in May since I rejoined Ron Souder, Alterity Founder and CEO, and began my "Great ACCTivate! Adventure". If Ron had not reminded me,
I would never have counted the years. This has been both a challenge and a great opportunity, which both come from the same source - Small Business America.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to talk to so many of our customers and prospects and to assist them with the analysis of their business requirements. We have used ACCTivate! to help them employ technology to grow their businesses with control. At times we have been unable to hit the target, but, in most cases, we have been successful.
Originally, we were supporting only the CYMA Financial Accounting user community. In 2003, we took advantage of an invitation from Intuit to join their Developer Network. This allowed us to work with the much larger community of companies that use QuickBooks. Of course, that is how most of you reading this now were introduced to ACCTivate! and to the Alterity staff.
What comes next? The challenge of serving you and many other small and midsize businesses continues. Our focus remains the same and includes the part of our mission statement that states, "to create, market and support applications software with superior capabilities that enables small through midrange businesses to dramatically improve their operations."
We are always looking for ways to improve our products and services in order to insure an even better experience for our ever growing community of users. New releases, better training methodology, continued technical service, and consulting assistance are all challenges that will keep us hopping in the next ten years.
As the country unwinds from the worst recession in our lifetimes, we are enthusiastic about our opportunities and our ability to meet your demands. Keep us informed of your thoughts on how we can improve. Believe me we listen and push to get your ideas incorporated into our offerings.
Thank you for the experience of working with so many small businesses over the past decade.
Kind Regards,

Ken Parker,
VP of Sales & Marketing
