Summer is here and it's the perfect time to visit a park, have a cookout, swim in the pool or just spend time outside. There are plenty of things to do, especially in July, National Park and Recreation Month. The National Recreation and Park Association uses this month to encourage organizations to promote outdoor activities.

There are a lot of ways to encourage outdoor activities and many ACCTivate! customers in the outdoor recreation industry are doing their part.

Several customers sponsor events not only in July but all year long.

Injinji gives various levels of product sponsorship to many run and walk events around the country.



Chrome sponsors bike teams and alley cats all over the country plus hosts many other events locally.

Still, other customers take it a step further and do their part to preserve the environment.

Teko supports organizations dedicated to the protection of the environment while working to reduce their own environmental impact.



Werner Paddles support organizations that help improve water quality.



Some customers help improve outdoor experiences with their products or services.

Scottco Marine provides quality dock supplies and components that can be used in new ways to enjoy the outdoors.



One of the products they distribute, Connect- A-Dock, was used in a boat camping experiment, "Floating Dock Boat Camp — Building Your Own Floating Retreat" by Randy Scott.

Lake Powell Resorts & Marinas offers tours, fishing, hiking, powerboat and water toy rentals, horseback riding and many more activities at their resorts and marinas.
