Display dates properly in ACCTivate!
Change date format from 8 to 6-digits to display full dates in ACCTivate!
With October on its way, some users may notice a minor issue with dates in ACCTivate!. Depending on computer settings 8-digit dates (MM/DD/YYYY) may not fully display in some ACCTivate! screens such as Lookup screens, but there is a quick fix.
This minor problem can be resolved by simply changing the date format on your computer to display 6-digits (MM/DD/YY) rather than 8-digits.
Just follow the instructions below to change the date settings:
- Select the Start Menu > Control Panel.
- In Category View, select Date, Time, Language and Regional Options.
- Select Change the format of numbers, dates and times.
- Select the Customize button on the Regional Options tab.
- Select the Date tab.
- From the Short date format drop-down menu select MM/dd/yy.
- Select OK on the two open windows.
